I’m the florist and designer behind Pip Floral Studio.
My work brings together a childhood spent around gardeners, a background in textile design and a love of making things with my hands.
Flowers have always been part of my life.
I grew up in a family of gardeners. Flowers, foliage and plants were part of everyday life, along with the care and patience involved in helping things grow.
That environment gave me a love of nature, colour and seasonal change. It still influences the flowers I choose and the way I put them together.
I later studied textile design and worked for several years as a self-employed weaver and designer. The materials were different, but I was still working with colour, form, texture and space, turning an idea into something physical.
When I was ready for a new creative challenge, floristry felt like a natural direction. I completed formal training and established Pip Floral Studio in 2021.
I’m happiest when I’m creating.
I have always needed to make things. The medium may change, but the process of exploring an idea, working through its possibilities and bringing it into the world remains the same.
Floristry gives me the freedom to work at different scales. It might be a single buttonhole, a bouquet full of movement or an installation that changes the feeling of a room.
Every project presents a new combination of people, place, colour and season. That is what keeps the work interesting.
Bringing the plans to life.
I love the moment when a venue is ready, the installations are finished and the stage is set for a celebration.
One previous bride described looking around the church and suddenly seeing everything they had planned brought to life. That feeling says more about what I want the flowers to achieve than a list of arrangements ever could.

Your ideas, with clear guidance.
Some couples know the exact colours, flowers and arrangements they want. Others arrive with a few references or a general feeling.
It’s then up to me to help you understand what is possible, how the venue affects the design and where flowers will make the most difference.
You can be closely involved throughout or leave more of the decisions with me. I’ll keep you informed, provide written follow-ups and make sure the final plan is clear.
As well as the creative design, I also handle the logistics with the venue and other suppliers. On the wedding day, you won’t need to think about access, installation or moving flowers between spaces. You can focus on being in the moment, enjoying the day and hopefully grabbing a second to stop and smell the roses.

Care behind the scenes
I’ll plan the flowers, coordinate the practical details and manage the work at the venue.
Seasonal flowers and foam-free design.
I use locally grown and British flowers as much as possible. Season, availability and the needs of the design influence the final selection.
All Pip Floral Studio work is completely floral-foam-free. I use vessels, structures and mechanics that can be reused, recycled or broken down naturally wherever possible.
After a wedding, I bunch flowers for couples and guests to take away. Any stems that cannot be reused are composted at the studio.
A flexible process.
We can communicate by video call, telephone, email or in person. I provide written follow-ups as part of the normal process and can adapt the pace and format of meetings where needed.
I welcome every couple and every kind of celebration. I firmly believe that ‘should’ and ‘ought to’ don’t belong when planning your day.
