Setting the scene with flowers.
Flowers can change the atmosphere of a wedding. They bring colour, movement and life into a venue, connect different parts of the day and make a space feel ready for the people arriving in it.
They can be quiet and simple or completely transform a room. The right approach depends on the venue, the season and how you want the wedding to feel.
I’ll help you decide where flowers will make the most difference, then design each element as part of the same overall idea.
A few possibilities.
There are many ways flowers can become part of a wedding. You can focus on a small number of personal pieces, carry a design through the whole day or build everything around one memorable installation.
Finding the right floral direction.
Our first conversations are about the wedding as a whole. I want to understand you, the atmosphere you want, the colours you are drawn to and the parts of the day that feel most important.
If you already have a clear idea, I’ll help develop it and work out how it can function within the space. If you are unsure, I’ll guide you through the options and help you find a direction.
The season also shapes the design. I choose flowers for their colour, form, texture and character, using locally grown and British flowers as much as is practical.
The result should feel connected to the wedding around it and natural within the venue.

Personal flowers
Bouquets, buttonholes, posies and flower crowns are made for the people wearing or carrying them. Colour, shape, clothing and comfort can all influence the design.

Ceremony flowers
Aisle meadows, urns, arches, entrance flowers and arrangements for the ceremony table can frame the setting and draw attention to the ceremony itself.

Reception flowers
Table flowers can range from groups of bud vases to larger bowl arrangements. Flowers can also be used around bars, cakes, fireplaces, staircases and other parts of the venue.

Installations
Hanging flowers, flower clouds, large arches and other installations can change the balance and atmosphere of a space. Their design depends on the venue, access, structure and time available for installation.

Moving flowers between spaces
Where the arrangements allow, ceremony flowers can be moved and used again at the reception. I’ll plan this in advance and manage the changeover with the venue.

I’m Anna.
I bring together a background in textile design, formal floristry training and a childhood spent around a family of gardeners.
That experience influences how I work with colour, form and texture, but the design begins with your wedding. My role is to help you understand the possibilities, turn the ideas into a clear floral direction and manage the work needed to deliver it.
Some couples want to be closely involved throughout. Others prefer to leave more of the decisions with me. I’m comfortable working either way and will keep the process clear as we go.
From enquiry to wedding day.
Start by telling me the essentials about your wedding. I’ll review the date, location and plans, then reply within three working days.
If I’m available we’ll arrange a free discovery call. We’ll discuss the venue, ideas, priorities and budget. Afterwards, I’ll prepare an initial moodboard and indicative quotation for you to consider.
We’ll review the proposal together, refine the design and confirm the plans. Once booked, I’ll guide you through the remaining decisions and coordinate the floral work with your venue and suppliers.
During the final weeks, I’ll order and prepare the flowers, build what I can at the studio and manage the installation at the venue.
I’ll also return the next day to tidy up and bunch flowers for you to take home or gift to guests.
Planning your flower budget.
My full wedding flower service begins at £1,500. This includes delivery, installation and collection within my usual service area.
Every wedding is quoted individually. The first quotation usually includes the full range of flowers discussed during our discovery call. We can then review the options together and decide where the budget will have the most impact.
Smaller, local, midweek and out-of-season weddings are also considered. These may include personal flowers and simple ceremony or table arrangements, with collection or limited local delivery.

Pip Floral Studio is based in Ceredigion.
I create wedding flowers across South and West Wales, including Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and the surrounding areas.
I also work throughout South West England and neighbouring counties, including Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Devon and Cornwall, as well as Bath and Bristol.
For the right project, I’m happy to discuss weddings outside these areas.
Flowers considered from start to finish.
I use locally grown and British flowers as much as is practical. The season, availability and needs of the design all influence what I source.
Pip Floral Studio is completely floral-foam-free. I work with reusable, recyclable and biodegradable mechanics, reusing vessels and structures where possible.
After the wedding, I return to clear the venue. Suitable flowers are gathered into bunches for guests to take away. Flowers and foliage that cannot be reused are composted at the studio.

Frequently asked questions
When should we enquire?
Most couples enquire once they have a date and venue, but you do not need to have either confirmed. My diary is normally open for the current and following calendar year. If you are planning further ahead, you are still welcome to enquire.
Six months gives us a comfortable amount of time to plan and prepare, although I can often work within a shorter timeframe.
Do we need to know exactly what we want?
No. You can arrive with a complete moodboard, a colour you love or only a general feeling. I’ll help you develop the ideas and decide what will work for your wedding.
What does the £1,500 minimum include?
The minimum applies to my full wedding service and includes the flowers, delivery, installation and collection within my usual service area.
Do you work with smaller weddings?
Yes. I’m always happy to discuss smaller, local, midweek and out-of-season weddings. Tell me about your plans and I’ll advise whether the full or simpler service is the right fit.
Where do you travel?
I work across South and West Wales, South West England and neighbouring counties. I’ll also consider work further afield for the right wedding.
Do you use locally grown flowers?
I use locally grown and British flowers as much as possible. Availability, season and the design all play a part in sourcing.
Are your designs floral-foam-free?
Yes. All Pip Floral Studio work is completely floral-foam-free.
Can our ceremony flowers be used at the reception?
Often, yes. It depends on the arrangement, timing and distance between the spaces. I’ll identify suitable opportunities during the planning and coordinate the move on the day.
